Where is the debt coming from? Has it been established in the public interest, or to the advantage of already privileged minorities? Who own its rights? Can we lighten its burden by other means than by impoverishing the different populations? More and more people are asking themselves those questions. Throughout Europe and in France, a wide democratic debate is needed urgently, because answers to those questions will determine our future.

This is why some citizens, some labor and associative organizations, supported by several political formations, have decided to create a national collective for the citizen audit of the public national debt, in order to bring this debate to the heart of the society.
